Bring your lunch, sit back and see what the fuss is about through displays and readings of books that have been banned or threatened throughout history.

Wishlist for Program Materials

We’ve got great programs planned for children and teens but we need your help to make them a success! Please bring in materials if you don’t have a use for them or would like to donate some.
Thank you!
- Play-doh (We’ll be making volcanoes the first week of October)
- Toys (McDonald’s toys and new or like new items for giveaways and prizes)
- Black felt
- Gently used t-shirts
- Junkmail CDs (like AOL, H&R Block)
- CD Jewel Cases (We’re going to recycle them and use them as picture frames)
- Foam posterboard
- Mod Podge Sparkle
- Ribbon
- Greeting cards
- Snacks (chips, cookies, crackers)
- Tablecloths (for our free summer lunch programs–Yes! we plan that far ahead!)

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with comida, music, games and bilingual conversation.
Sizzlin’ Salsa Challenge-
Make and bring your favorite salsa recipe-prize awarded to the favorite. Snacks and beverages provided.
