Volunteer Opportunities
October 20, 2008
Volunteers are important to the success of the Brown County Library and to the delivery of its services to the citizens of Green Bay. In 2007, the Southwest Branch Library had 59 people (children, teens and adults) volunteer their time for a total of 893.5 hours!
If any of the following volunteer positions interests you, please stop in or give us a call at 920-492-4910. Thanks!

We’ve had overwhelming responses for Adult Basic Internet and Basic Microsoft Word trainings. Trainings are currently held Thursdays and Fridays 9am-10am, but we can adjust times to fit your schedule. We have prepared materials and training outlines to use.

Artsy and creative? Help with planning and putting up decorations on the Library’s windows and bulletin boards. Materials will be provided.
Click on the ilovelibraries badge (on left) to find reviews of new and award-winning books, fast-breaking library news, library spotlights, a “find a library” feature, blogs and newsfeeds. Interactive software allows users to share their library stories, connect with other library lovers, and contact Congress about library issues. The site is created by the American Library Association.
