Call for Volunteers!

Volunteers are important to the success of the Brown County Library and to the delivery of its services to the citizens of Green Bay. In 2008, the Southwest Branch Library had 53 people (children, teens and adults) volunteer their time for a total of 920.75 hours!

Basic Internet and/or Basic Microsoft Word Trainer

We’ve had an overwhelming response for Adult Basic Internet and Basic Microsoft Word lessons. Lessons are currently held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, but we can adjust times to fit your schedule. We have prepared materials and outlines to use.

Landscaping/Picking up Litter

Help beautify the library and maintain a clean, welcoming look. Tools and materials provided by the Library.

Bilingual Spanish Program Volunteer

Speak Spanish fluently? Help with set-up, participate in bilingual conversation, and clean-up.

Artsy and creative? Help with planning and putting up decorations on the Library’s windows and bulletin boards. Materials will be provided.
